Q. Are Customized Sunglasses safety glasses?

A. Sunglasses are not safety glasses and are considered to be a line of casual wear. All our Public Safety sunglasses and safety glasses have polycarbonate lenses which are shatter-resistant. Please note the other options as some of our glasses have polarized and Blue Revo and Acrylic lenses.

Q. Is my credit card secure?

A. Your credit card information will remain secure. The information is submitted to us using SSL encryption. In addition, your credit card information will not be stored on our computers.

Q. What is your return or exchange policy?

A. Your satisifaction with our service and products is important to us and we offer a 30 day, money back guarantee (not including shipping). If you are not satisfied with your purchase you must notify us in writing in an e-mail to our e-mail address customshades@eastlink.ca within 30 days to receive a refund for defective sunglasses due to workmanship.

If your merchandise has arrived defective, notify us immediately via e-mail and we will then provide you with a return authorization number (RA#). Upon inspection of the item returned to CustomSunglasses Etc. should we find the item to be defective, we will replace IT IMMEDIATELY.

Any Return shipping and the original shipping cost is also non-refundable.

Our customer service hours are from 8 AM TO 5 PM EASTERN sTANDARD TIME. IF WE ARE NOT THERE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU IMMEDIATELY.

WE WOULD SUGGEST IF YOU RETUIRN AN ITEM TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT INSURED AND TRACKABLE. IF AN ITEM IS SENT WITHOUT TRACKING INFORMATION AND IT DOES NOT ARRIVE, WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU IN SATISFYING YOUR CLAIM.

Q. What do I do if my order arrived damaged or I received the wrong product?

A. Please contact us immediately.You have up to 24 hours to report the problem. Please send the damaged or incorrect item back to the address we provide you. We will send a replacement.

Q. Where are you located and what are your customer service hours?

A. Our head office is located in Canada and our shipping for US orders are shipped from the USA.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, money orders and Pay Pal. For security reasons, we only ship to your billing address listed with your credit card. We ship within 48 hours after processing your payment. We ship no product until payment is received. We require your shipping details. Our mailing address is:

Q. What are my shipping options and rates?

A. After placing your order, your sunglasses will arrive 4-8 days later DEPENDING ON THE METHOD OF DELIVERY YOU DETERMINE. We ship within 1 day after receiving your order and use USPS, UPS, Canada Post. We will provide you with a quote before you finalize your order. We recommend that you chose a tracking feature on the parcel. Lost items that have no tracking number will not be refunded. We will provide you with proof of shipment at that time.

Q. How can I check the status of my order?

A. If it has been more than one week since you placed your order, you can log into the courier THAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN and TRACK THE PACKAGE providing you have chosen that feature. WE WILL FORWARD THE TRACKING NUMBER. The rate varies depending on location, delivery option and order weight. Again I recommend you contact us for an accurate quote.

Q. What about customs charges?

A. You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from US you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Customs forms WILL HAVE THE VALUE OF YOUR ORDER LISTED. Be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities AND DELAYS COULD OCCUR.
